Potato Europe 2026 AVR product launches
AVR, specialist in potato cultivation machinery, introduces several new features ahead of Potato Europe in Springe, Germany.
- New: Power harrow combination for the AVR Ceres 440
- New: Presentation conveyor for the AVR Falcon hopper
- Update: Upgrades for the AVR Spirit 9200i
- Update: Increased power for the AVR Puma 4.0
- Premiere: 5th generation of the AVR Puma working live for the first time
The AVR Ceres 440 with power harrow combination, the AVR Falcon with presentation conveyor, and the 5th generation of the AVR Puma will all be on display at the AVR stand and during the AVR demonstrations at Potato Europe (9–10 September, Germany).
New power harrow combination for the AVR Ceres 440
AVR introduces a new addition to its range of all-in-one solutions for the Ceres 440. Alongside the existing MultiForce and Compact combinations, a third option is now available: a power harrow combination, developed in close collaboration with the Belgian manufacturer LSM.
With this expansion, growers gain even more flexibility to configure their ideal combination for soil preparation and planting, perfectly tailored to various conditions—particularly in stony fields.
In 2025, the prototype was extensively tested with very positive feedback; in 2026, a limited pre-series (0-series) was launched. The Ceres 440 with power harrow will be showcased at the AVR stand at Potato Europe (9–10 September, Germany) and Interpom (29 November – 1 December, Belgium). Read the full press release here.
Presentation conveyor on the Falcon 24-60
To improve crop distribution towards the cleaning rollers, AVR introduces a new presentation conveyor on the Falcon 24-60 receiving hopper. This new presentation conveyor can be used with both a single and a double roller set and is hydraulically driven. Its speed can be easily adjusted manually via the valve block.
The presentation conveyor will be available from now on and will be shown working live for the first time in AVR’s storage line demonstration at Potato Europe 2026 in Springe, Germany. The presentation conveyor cannot be retrofitted to existing machines.

Updates Spirit 9200i

Extra power for the AVR Puma 4.0
The AVR Puma 4.0 is now equipped with the powerful Volvo TAD1384VE engine. This engine is part of Volvo’s range of high-performance, fuel-efficient and highly reliable diesel engines, based on the company’s proven inline six-cylinder concept.
The Volvo TAD1384VE engine delivers 375 kW (510 hp), providing an additional 40 hp compared to the Puma 4.0 up to model year 2025.
General characteristics of the Volvo TAD138X engine range:
- Low total cost of ownership thanks to the EATS exhaust aftertreatment system
- Low emissions (Stage V compliant)
- Easy maintenance
- High torque at low engine speeds
- Extended oil change intervals (1,000 hours)
Premiere: 5th generation AVR Puma live in action at Potato Europe Germany
At the end of 2025, AVR launched the latest evolution of its legendary self-propelled harvester: the AVR Puma. The machine was introduced to the public through a digital launch and made its first trade fair appearance at AGRITECHNICA in Hanover. At Potato Europe, the ultimate version of the AVR Puma will be seen working live for the very first time.
Speed, manoeuvrability and power are the qualities that inspired the Puma’s name, and these strengths have been taken even further. Key improvements include an even sharper steering angle, an engine delivering no less than 551 hp, and a substantial upgrade of the hydraulic system. Building on the proven strengths of the Puma platform, the fifth generation focuses on user-friendly modernisation and increased capacity, while continuing to safeguard crop quality through optimised haulm processing modules, sieving channel, cleaning unit and bunker.
