AVR Puma

The 5th-generation Puma is defined by the four key characteristics of its bloodline: speed, agility, strength, and lightweight construction.

Every detail -from the chassis and tires to the wheelbase and powertrain - has been carefully engineered around these principles, delivering stability, efficiency, minimal fuel consumption and maximum harvesting performance.

IMPRESSIVE POWERTRAIN

The 5th generation Puma sets a new standard with an impressive powertrain. The Volvo TAD1385 engine delivers 551 hp, making it the most powerful in its class. Paired with the high-performance hydraulic pump unit, this power is fully converted into maximum harvesting capacity.

Highlights

AVR CONNECT

The Puma comes standard with AVR Connect: an online system for collecting all machine data, both on and off the field. This powerful reporting tool enables analysis of every machine activity. Greater insight into machine
and agronomic data allows for more efficient operations and faster adjustments when needed.

No additional actions are required from the driver, as all data is automatically recorded during machine operation.

EASY OPERATION

The first thing that stands out in the CLAAS X11 cab is the impressive panoramic view, providing a clear sight of the digging web. Full control of the machine is at your fingertips, thanks to the integrated camera system and the intuitive HMI.

The AVR HMI is extremely user-friendly, offering an intuitive overview of all machine settings and parameters, with quick access to the modules required for operation. The main screen displays the entire machine, with each component highlighted in a distinct colour for easy identification at a glance. The camera system features a large touchscreen capable of showing up to 18 cameras simultaneously, providing a complete and precise view of the working area.

CONTINUOUS HARVESTING

The AVR Clean & Go bunker combines a large buffer capacity — now up to 10 tons — with
the efficiency of unloading on the go, while providing additional cleaning power thanks to a transition roller and an open sieving
web elevator. The 10-ton bunker delivers maximum machine capacity. In bunker field mode, an extension plate unfolds automatically. Extremely fast unloading is
achieved by lifting the bunker floor 40 cm using a parallelogram construction. The automatic bunker filling system ensures
optimal and efficient loading, allowing the bunker to be used to its full capacity with ease. Unloading can also be performed fully automatically, making operation simple and user-friendly.
