To help the modern farmer face the challenges of modern agriculture AVR has fully linked its new Puma with the internet, as illustrated by its fitting name: Puma 4.0.

During Potato Europe 2019 in Kain, Belgium, we presented the option of row-independent planting on its trailed four-row Ceres 450. Each planting element is driven separately by its own hydraulic motor.

At the Potato Europe in Kain, Belgium, we presented our newest quick-change digging unit. As of 2020, this option will be available on all 2-row trailed AVR harvesters. The existing digging unit was adapted in such a way that it can be easily dismounted, without having to open the digging web or remove the shear holder separately.

For the upcoming potato planting season, all AVR Ceres potato planters with a hopper capacity of up to 3,500 kg (4x75 cm) or 4,000 kg (4x90 cm) can now be equipped with the state-of-the-art AVR anti-erosion system.

Agricultural machinery manufacturer AVR presents its new option on the Puma 3: the All Conditions Control or in short the ACC.

In August 2016, AVR is unveiling its most recent innovations in crop handling technology: the Cobra and Falcon. The Cobra is a store loader with a length of 15,  17 or 19 metres and a belt width of 80 cm. The Falcon is the new receiving hopper with a 2.4 m working width on the roller set and a length of 4.5 or 6 metres.

In April 2015, the groundbreaking took place for the new AVR assembly hall, and in June 2016 already the potato machine producer rode out its first completed trailed harvester. In less than a year´s time the foundations were laid, the concrete structure was raised and the technical provisions, the rolling bridges and the drag chain conveyor installed. AVR is starting 2016 right on schedule and with a beautiful opener.

Agritechnica 2015 featured the new generation of the AVR Puma: the Puma 3. This four-row harvester is the 200th Puma to hit the field.

Mechanisation companies such as potato harvester manufacturer AVR must often go in search of very specific – and therefore rare – technical profiles. That is why the growth company is now taking the bull by the horns by entering into a partnership with the Vives College from Ostend.
